So happy (belated) holidays from us and our snacks!
In addition to Jake, our good friends Kara and Bird came to visit! It was pretty crowded with the four of us all squeezed into my studio apartment, but they were definitely good sports about the situation. They were also all incredible house guests--in their entire stay here, I did not wash a single dish or go to the grocery store a single time. It was refreshing to have some company in the apartment.
Throughout our sightseeing adventures, I got a ton of opportunities to take couple photos of Kara and Bird!

Kara and Bird -- I had so much fun living with you guys for two weeks! Thanks for never letting me do my dishes, for tossing my water bottle up to my loft bed when I forgot to bring it with me, and for giving me actual human subjects to take photos of for a change. See you both soon!
I can't believe this semester is already over--I still explicitly remember writing my first blog entry just hours after arriving in the city. In a little over 30 hours, I will be leaving indefinitely. I honestly can't say that I fell in love with the city, but I will always love Paris' classic beauty. I have never felt more lonely than I felt at times throughout these five months, but I learned how to live alone and luxuriate in the freedom that comes with being alone. As the first real city I have ever lived in, Paris will always have a spot in my heart.
À toute à l'heure, you smelly, bewitching place.
